Go Solo
See trash while you're out and about? Grab a bag and get started. One person can make a big difference.
The Rules

All trash must be collected within Philly, Chicago, or LA city limits.

Submissions require a photo for verification.

Bag counts and bag sizes must be included on the form.

Only volunteer efforts count (city employees or contractors cannot participate on the clock.)

Only group leads can submit totals from group events to avoid double submission.

Individuals can submit as many times as they like throughout October.

2025 Impact
In 2025, Philly and Chicago went head-to-head for an entire month. Together, we removed 7 TONS of trash from our streets with over 1,000 people participating.
Philly: 923 Bags
Chicago: 927 Bags
Chicago won by just FOUR bags.
This year. Philly is coming back for the title, and LA is joining the competition!
