The Trash Talk is Over (For Now!)
What an unforgettable month (October 2025) of community, competition, and collective impact! Together with our friends at Cleanup Club Chicago, we made a powerful difference, removing 7 tons of trash from our neighborhoods and proving what’s possible when cities come together for change.
We’re so proud of every volunteer, partner, and supporter who rolled up their sleeves, showed up with heart, and helped us keep Philadelphia shining.

While Chicago took the win this year (by just 4 bags!), Philly is already fired up for next year. We can’t wait to gather together again, grow this movement, and take back the crown!

Our Impact
The 2025 Philly vs. Chicago Clean-Off made a lasting impact on our communities and our environment. Over the course of one month 1,000 volunteers across both cities rolled up their sleeves to remove a combined 7 tons of trash! That’s enough to fill 12 full dumpster trucks or the weight of 14 horses!
Beyond the numbers, this campaign inspired neighborhood pride, brought together families, schools, and local partners, and sparked important conversations about how we care for our shared spaces. From littered lots to clean blocks, the Clean-Off proved that when communities unite with purpose, change happens block by block.
